Abstract
결론
일생동안 구강건강의 기초가 되는 유치를 영구치 교환시기까지 건강하게 보존하고 효율적
으로 관리하기 위한 방안을 개발하는 데에 기초자료를 마련할 목적으로 유치우식증 실태를
분석하고, 우식활성 검사결과와 상관관계를 검토한 바, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다.
1. 유치우식경험자율은 2세에서 26.7%이었으며, 3세에서 40.7%이었고,4세에서 72.4%이었
으며, 5세에서 80.3%이었고,6세에서 94.1%이었다.
2. 우식경험유치지수는 2세에서 0.84개이었으며, 3세에서 2.15개이었고, 4세에서 4.07개이었
으며, 5세에서 5.60개이었고,6세에서 6.38개이었다.
3. 우식경험유치면지수는 2세에서 1.31개이었으며, 5세에서 3.32개이었고,4세에서 5.60개이
었으며, 5세에서 10.62개이었고,6세에서 11.41개이었다.
4. 치면세균막의 산생성도 검사는 우식경험유치면 지수와 3세와 4세 및 5세 아동에서 유
의한 상관관계가 있었다(P(0.05).
5. 유치우식증을 예방하기 위하여 상수도수불화사업, 전문가불소도포사업, 불소용액양치사
업 및 열구전색사업을 실시하여야 할 것으로 검토되었다.

The aim of this study was to examine dental caries in deciduous teeth and to analyse
correlation between caries prevalence in deciduous teeth and caries activity tests. 257
kindergarten children in Pusan were surveyed for caries prevalence and related factors.
Caries was diagnosed according to WHO criteria 1987. The test of acid production by
plaque microorganism using Snyder test medium and counts of mutans streptococci were
performed for caries activity test. The obtained results were as follows.
1. The rate of children with caries experience in deciduous teeth was 26.7% in
2-year-olds, 40.7% in 3-year-olds, 72.4% in 4-year-olds, 80.3% in 5-year-olds and
94.1% in 6-year-olds.
2. The mean number of decayed, missing, filed deciduous teeth was 0.84 in
2-year-olds, 2.15 in 3-year-olds, 4.07 in 4-year-olds, 5.60 in 5-year-olds and 6.38 in
6-year-olds.
3. The mean number of decayed, missing, filed deciduous teeth surfaces was 1.31 in
2-year-olds, 3.32 in 3-year-olds, 5.60 in 5-year-olds, 10.62 in 5-year-olds and 11.41 in
6-year-olds.
4. The statistically significant correlation was found between dmfs index and test of
acid production by plaque microorganism using Snyder medium.
